Lessons Learned from 10 Years of Simply Stated

This year, Simply Stated celebrates 10 years — and honestly, it's hard to believe how far we’ve come.
From late nights in the kitchen to late nights filling orders, every step has taught us something.

Here are a few of the lessons that have shaped our journey:

Lesson #1: Growth Isn’t Linear
Some years we exploded with new growth.
Some years felt like we were standing still.
The truth? Success isn’t a straight, upward climb — and that’s okay. The real magic happens when you stay steady, trust the seasons, and keep going.

Lesson #2: "Balance" Is a Lie — It's a Season
There’s no such thing as perfect balance between business, family, and life.
There are only seasons — seasons of hustle, seasons of rest, seasons of change.
Learning to recognize the season you’re in makes all the difference.

Lesson #3: Self-Care Isn’t Selfish — It’s Survival
For a long time, I believed that burnout was just part of entrepreneurship.
Now I know: you can't pour from an empty cup.
Self-care — real, nourishing self-care — isn't a luxury. It's what allows Simply Stated to keep serving others with heart.

Lesson #4: Simplicity Wins
When we tried to chase every trend or expand too quickly, we lost ourselves.
The beauty has always been in simplicity: clean, thoughtful products. Ingredients that work.
Focusing on what matters most — that's when we thrive.

Lesson #5: You Have to Leap (Even When You're Terrified)
There’s never a "perfect time" to go all-in.
But sometimes you have to leap scared.
The best parts of our story — and the biggest blessings — only happened because we decided to trust ourselves and jump.

10 years later, we're still learning.
Still growing.
Still showing up — for you, for ourselves, for the small moments of joy and self-care that add up to something so much bigger.

Thank you for being part of this story.
Here’s to the next chapter. 💛
